Hey there, brick enthusiasts! Welcome back to Itsnotlego! Today, we're diving into the new FunWhole F9024 Medieval Apothecary with a quick unboxing.
Where to get it: The Funwhole Medieval Apothecary set is up for grabs on both Amazon and the FunWhole website.
The Apothecary set retails for about $79.99 but always keep your eyes open for sales and promos and you should be able to get the set even cheaper from FunWhole.
Just like all FunWhole building block sets, it comes in a robust box featuring a lovely image of the set. Oh, and the trademark lighting is in there too. Flip the box, and you'll get a peek at how the set looks both in the dark and illuminated.
There are 1470 pieces with 2 minifigures, and the set is rated for ages 12 and up.
Check out the box's bottom for the lowdown on what's packed inside.
Now, let's crack it open.
Inside, you'll find a hefty instruction book.
The lighting kit, housed in a standout orange box, includes metal tweezers, 2 electrostatic pouches, and a battery pack (BYO 2 AA batteries).
Pouch 1 holds 6 components to light up the apothecary set, while Pouch 2 rocks a single strand of various lights.
Looks like there will be a small sticker sheet included in the set, as well as some capes.
The included 16x16 studs baseplate has me curious about the apothecary shop's final size. Oh BTW, all FunWhole sets are Lego compatible.
Now, onto the bags – all numbered to match the manual sections:
- Section 1: 3 bags
- Section 2: 2 bags
- Section 3: 2 bags
- Section 4: 2 bags
- Section 5: 2 bags
- Section 6: 2 bags
